Dr Manish Shukla is an Associate Professor of Operations Management at Leeds University and Programme Director of the MSc Global Supply Chain Management. He is a Fulbright Fellow, with his research focusing on addressing real-life challenges in sustainable supply chain, applying operations, technology and innovation.
He is co-author of Sustainable Supply Chain Transformation, published by Kogan Page and used on MSc supply chain programmes worldwide, and co-author of the novel The Only Option.
His published research covers big data analytics frameworks for smallholder inclusion in palm oil certification, sustainable procurement paths in agri-food industries, the barriers to smart sustainable auditing systems, and multi-criteria decision support for sourcing risk.
He has led sponsored field research including work on palm oil supply chain transformation for P&G and rural value chain transformation across Eastern India for CII and USAID.
